Funeral services for Tommy Shaddix, 73, were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Cullman First Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery. The Revs. Greg Ricky and Scott Sessionsl officiated.

Moss Service Funeral Homewas in charge of arrangements.

Tommy passed away Tuesday, April 14, at his residence. He was born July 28, 1941, in Eva to Thomas Levert and Marylou Butler Shaddix. He was the owner of Shaddix Company for over 45 years, and was the voice of the “Raiders” for 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Ty Isaac Rasco.

Survivors include his wife, Mitchelene Shaddix; a daughter, Sheri (Berry) Rasco; two sons, Eddie Shaddix and Dewayne (Tracey) Shaddix; seven grandchildren, Cody (Lyndsey) Rasco, Randi (Shane) Bentley, Kyli (Colton) Terry, Sarai (Robbie) Howard, Zachery (Hayley) Shaddix, Isaac Shaddix and Hannah Shaddix; eight great-grandchildren, Ty Alivia Rasco, Zayden Cruce, Acelyn Cruce, Macee Bentley, Jackson Bentley, Axton Terry, Tylyn Howard and Cash Howard.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Tommy’s name to Cullman First Church of the Nazarene or to the Cullman County Center for the Developmentally Disabled
