Funeral for Wanda Street Plemons, 70, of Hartselle was held Thursday, February 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Curtis Sampley officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Plemons, who died Saturday, January 28, 2012, at her home, was born July 19, 1941, in Decatur to Willard Street and Elizabeth Hodges Street. She graduated from Decatur High School in 1959. She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include two daughters, Denise Plemons Everett and husband, Wallace, of Indian Trail, N.C., and Darlene Plemons Rodgers of Hartselle; her mother, Elizabeth Hodges Street of Decatur; three grandchildren, Chelsea Everett Helms and husband, Brandon, of Monroe, N.C., Karmel Rodgers and Samantha Rodgers, both of Hartselle; and one great-grandchild, Addison Grace Helms of Monroe, N.C.
