Jeff died in a solo car accident around halloween 1996 or '97. At the time I was living in Columbus and drove up to Defiance for a friend's party. I brought some friends of mine from Columbus and we ended up talking and joking with Jeff until the wee hours of the night. I didn't know Jeff well and hadn't seen him in years. I was surprised at how funny and happy he was. The next morning as my friends and I were all laughing about all the stuff we had talked about the night before, someone got a call that Jeff had been in an accident on his way home from the party and had passed away. I know many people at DHS probably didn't even know Jeff, so I'd like to tell everyone what a delight he was; I know his close friends still miss him. R.I.P. Jeff. You are not forgotten...
Adam is right. Jeff was a real nice guy. JJ went to Brickel with us and then I think he moved away for awhile but then came back in high school. He went to Four County with us and was a total nut. He had a great sense of humor, always making us laugh.
