Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am Jeff's widow. If I could, I'd like to add a few things: Jeff died of a pulmonary embolism, or a blood clot in his lung. Later on, we learned that Jeff had a clotting disorder that likely contributed to his death. He was in a coma when he passed away.
Our son, Jonathan, shares a birthday with his dad, and was five months old when Jeff died. He is now approaching his ninth birthday and also has some medical problems, but is currently doing very well.
