Survived By: Two brothers, David and Brad (BJ) Schroeder and three grown children, Tyler, Tristen & George II. She was the grandmother of five.

From a classmate: AKA "Shelly Schroeder." She didn't graduate with us, but she was part of our class until she began attending Ohio State School of Cosmetology. She had the credits to graduate in 1981, I believe that summer. She was a fantastic hairdresser. She was also one of the best friends I ever had from the time we met in 5th grade all the way til 10th when I switched schools for a year to live with my dad. We used to laugh & laugh, I can still hear her laugh. When I came back she was about to move to Columbus. We stayed in touch only loosely over the years. I hadn't seen her since summer of 2000, but I was very sad to hear she had passed away, she really was a big, wonderful part of my growing up.
