Thomas Connell Obituary

Thomas C. Connell, Jr., 55, of Orange City, went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2014 at Florida Hospital DeLand. He was born on January 30, 1959 in DeLand and was a lifetime resident of West Volusia County. Tommy loved gardening and yard work and was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Church in DeLand. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas Sr. and Loretta Connell. Survivors include his son Thomas C. Connell III of Massachusetts; daughters Loretta Connell of Charleston, SC and Amanda Connell of Orange City; brothers David Connell of Bristol, TN, James Connell of DeLand and Robert Connell of DeLand; sister Mary Baumgardener and husband Randy of DeLand and two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th at 1pm at the Lighthouse Christian Church in DeLand. Online condolences may be made at www.allensummerhillfuneralhome.com.
