Beverly Lewis passed away on September 23, 2016.

Funeral services for Beverly Ann Lewis, 57, Orlando, will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a. m. in the Ruth Cusack Chapel of Cusack Mortuary, Bishops Eugene Collier and Stephan Tyler, Officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cusack Mortuary. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Beverly Ann Lewis was born to Killrain and Lena Lewis on April 8, 1959 in DeLand. Beverly attended Daytona State College after graduating from DeLand High School, class of 1976. Beverly's health began to fail her at an early age. No matter what she always went to the Lord in prayer and was faithful to His word. She was preceded in death by her father, Killrain C. Lewis and daughter, Melissa Sams. Survivors include her son: Leonard Sams III, Orlando; Mother: Lena Lewis, DeLand; Siblings: Nathaniel Moss, DeLand; Ralph Lewis, DeLand; Killrain Lewis (Crishell), Dallas, TX; Girtha Mae Waters (James), Winter Haven; Mavis Nunn, NC, Deborah Gearring (Joe), DeLand; Judy Garland, Cairo, GA; a devoted friend, Johnnie May Butts, Orlando; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
