My cousin Henry passed away from brain cancer on 1/23/1999. I wanted to let everyone know more about this fun-loving and free-spirited individual that we remember from high school.
In 1987, Henry moved to Knoxville, TN to work in automotive repair. He received recognition as a Master Automotive and Heavy Duty Technician and was a co-founder and teacher of the Girl Scout Badge in automotive mechanics. He was also President of the local NAPA Car Care council.
He married Kim in 1993 and they had a son Jimmy. In 1994 he founded his own company - Weir Automotive as well as a motocross racing team - Weir Bad Racing! While a member of Southern Fellowship Church, he helped them build a new facility.
He really succeeded in Knoxville and lived a full life until he was struck down with the brain cancer. Fortunately, I was able see him during his illness.
I met Henry in 8th grade and he always made me laugh. He was fun guy to know in school. I was glad to read John's comments about his life. I am glad it was full and happy.
