Killed with his cousin Russel "Trey" Kiger on I-10 days after his 38th birthday and the day after cousin Trey's birthday. Track letter all four years at DSHS. Graduate of LSU. Most die hard LSU I ever met. Great father, husband, brother, son, and cousin. The best brother that anyone could ever ask for. Very athletic, smart, and kind. He always did the right thing. Former forward observer for army artillery. 6 years served in the Louisiana National Guard. Damn I will miss him. We all will.

Jacob was a Great Friend, would do anything for anybody at the drop of a hat, I remember Jacob, Me and Randy May went Crawfishing one weekend just before we got out of school ended up being one of the best times I ever had, fallen out of boats, swimming around snakes, getting lost it was great. Jacob you will be missed, and Never Forgotten.Sherry Carpenter
A beloved husband and father, Jacob Allen “Jake” Kiger was taken from us on Friday, April 9, 2010, along with his cousin, Russel “Trey” Kiger, in an auto accident. He was 38. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Tuesday and Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Denham Springs, until funeral services.
