James Michael Sinor Obituary

James Michael Sinor, 68, of Denison, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

A memorial service will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with a short visitation after and then burial of the cremains with military honors will be 2:00PM, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas following.

James was born Monday, September 15, 1947 to Leo and Luella (Norris) Sinor in Bonham Texas. He was one of 4 children. James joined the U.S. Army after high school and served his country for 22 years. He was a crew chief during the Vietnam Era and was a helicopter mechanic; he worked his way up retiring as a 1st Sargent (E-8). He went on to work as Civil Service at Ft. Hood in the Aircraft Division. James had a passion for guitars and played and collected them as his favorite hobby. He loved bowling and softball in his spare time and he and Beverly traveled the world extensively together.

James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Sinor.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Denison; brother Don W. Sinor and wife Bonnie of Denison; sister Brenda Hood and husband Billy of Bonham.
