Hope everyone is doing well. I hope I can come to the Reunion. I'd love to share stories about how our families.
After a few broken hearts in High School. I found the love of my life the week after graduation. Melanie Tate and Howard Thompson introduced us a month earlier and Jeff came looking for me at the beach and we have been together ever since. In the fall I went to nursing school and Jeff headed off to the Air Force. We had a long engagement and married in 1984. I moved to Fayettville for 9 months and then to Dallas, NC and Jeff went back to school and then moved to Augusta Ga. We had Jeffrey and moved back to beautiful NC and have been in Greensboro ever since.
I worked in cardiology but mostly in child and adolescent psychiatry. I currenlty coordinate care for children in foster care and adopted children. Somedays I get to present an adopted infant to their forever family.
I never dreamed of being a nurse. I remember a classmate telling me they wanted to be a nurse and I was like "Gross" but it has been a great fit. I love it and couldn't think of doing anything else
