Joan was my friend. I could say the dumbest thing and she would respond with laughter. She was so shy that she kept her head down when she laughed like someone was going to scold her for laughing. Life is difficult and i gather that she had her difficulties in life. Joan, did not share any stories of her home or social life with me...........she found joy in the moment.
I can see her smiling face now , if ever a timid sweet soul deserved Paridise, Joan would be counted in that number.
