Robert T. Graci, age 65 died on March 22, 2012 at his home in Deptford. Robert formerly lived in Woodbury and West Deptford. He was a member of the first graduating class of Deptford High School in 1964. Robert worked 27 years for the Gloucester County Sheriff's Department and the Department of Correctional services, retiring in 2008 as Lieutenant. He was a charter member of the FOP Lodge 97, member of the FOP Lodge 165 and 199 and the NJ State Retired Police and Firemen's Assn Local 11. Robert loved his family and friends and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed traveling to Key West and Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife of 15 years Barbara Jean (nee Genovese), daughter Ursula Jones of Dunkirk, MD, stepson Michael Williams of Sewell, grandchildren Courtney and Valerie Parker, brothers Charlie (Joan), Frank (Maryann), mother and father in law Shirley and Paul Genovese, sisters in law Cathy (Neal) Goss, Lori (Bob) Chrzanowski and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Monday 7-9pm and Tuesday 10-11am in the Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Ave (Kings Hwy), Woodbury, NJ. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Memories may be shared at www.buddfuneralhome.com

I went to Bob's viewing. He was retired from the Sheriff's Department and had an honor guard made up of officers. He was laid out with a Hawaiin shirt, shorts and sun visor. I'm sure he had requested that himself.

Bobs vocation was certainly different from his future expectations in High School (in his case--to be a Hair Dresser). I guess that is true for most of us.

I could still see the smile on his face the last time i saw him,he always said to me ,how are you

doing Frien--------d. I sure miss the way he said that world friend. He was a wounderful guy and

very lovely to talk to in time of need. May God Bless you!

I had seen Bob many times as a fellow musician, and met his brothers. The last time I saw him was just before he retired, pulled up next to him in my car on the street. We talked about guitars again. Great guy, whom I'll miss.
