Eileen and I met and became friend in seventh grade when we both joined choir.  Eileen, Marie and I were the three musketeers and were subsequently joined by Leona in 10th grade.  Eileen and I went on the college together, spent a summer at the shore together where she met her husband and eventully lived together for about two years as single mothers raising daughters.

Somewhere along the line we lost touch about 30 years ago.  I missed her greatly. She was always a good and true friend.

Eileen was a great friend in 7th grade. She introduced me to the Nancy Drew book series during summer vacation. She owned the entire original set. We read books, rode our bikes around the Terrace and had many good laughs together that summer. I remember her as a very kind and giving person. I am sad to learn of her passing.
