"Elizabeth T. “Betsy” McFetridge, age 70, formerly of Haddon Hts., died on Feb. 25, 2015, at her sister’s house. She had lived in Haddon Hts. for over 40 years. Her husband pre-deceased her. Memorial service will be Tues., 10 AM at St. Margaret’s Church, Infant Jesus Parish, 3rd St. & Beech Ave., Woodbury Hts., N.J. Mass at 11 AM. She will be interned next to her husband at New St. Mary’s Mausoleum in Bellmawr. The obit mistakenly lists her as a 1962 grad of D.T.H.S. As we know, she had been suffering from Parkinson’s for quite some time. Her sister Carol had tried to bring her to our reunion, but then Carol was fighting her own health problems. Betsy grew up in the Westville Grove section of Deptford. I will always remembers her as a very outgoing, highly spirited and friendly person. Funny – with a wild side, she will be missed. "
I am so sorry I missed my planned visit with Betsy, but now I will remember our fun times together, and the blessing of no more suffering, she will be in my prayers, farewell my friend, Diana S
