I met Rich in 7th grade in Mrs Bauer's class, the front middle room on the second floor. He played baritone4 horn in the band for a couple of years, until they figured out that he was allergic to the raw brass on the inside of the horn where the lacquer didn't cover and protect, and he had to stop playing in 9th grade. It was then that I started playing the baritone. The same one that Rich had been playing.
