Fullerton, James Douglas “Doug,” was called home to eternal rest on February 10, 2014, at Robert J. Dole VA Hospital in Wichita, KS.  He was born in Sayre, Ok on Oct 26, 1949 and attended Sayre Public Schools.  He moved with his family to Derby, KS in October 1956.  He graduated in 1967 from Derby High School.  Doug served in the U.S. Air force and Kansas Air National Guard from 1967-1970.  He was a communication specialist for Rohm Corporation and later for St. Joseph Hospital until his retirement in 2012.  He was preceded in death by his father Hubert Leslie Fullerton in 1975 and his mother Minnie Cleo (Totty) Fullerton in 2009.  He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Traci (Millen) Fullerton and daughter, Toni (Lowrance) Kosir (Mark), of Tulsa, OK; sons, Corey Lowrance, of Dallas, TX, and Donnie Betthauser of Ft. Smith, AK; brother, Marshall Fullerton (Kathy) of Wichita, KS; sister, Shirley (Fullerton) Harding, of Winfield, KS; three grandchildren, Rachel, Matthew, and Samuel Kosir, of Tulsa, OK; one niece and three nephews.  Services will be held Monday, February 17, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Affinity All Faiths Mortuary, 1525 N. Buckner Derby, KS.  Interment will be at Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield, KS.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at Robert J. Dole VA Hospice Center, 5500 E Kellogg Ave, Wichita, KS.

DERBY - Fullerton, James Douglas "Doug," 64, passed away on Feb. 10, 2014. Doug served in the U.S. Air Force and Kansas Air National Guard. Preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Cleo (Totty) Fullerton. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Affinity All Faiths Mortuary, 1525 N. Buckner, Derby. Interment at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield.
