William Lewis Stewart, Jr. (we called him JR - his wife, Mary, called him Lew) was a forest ranger. A storm came up on the lake and a distress call came from a boater. He went to rescue them and drowned in the process.
Lewis was a real sweet guy, and a friend. Lewis and Mary, went to a drive-in movie, with Steve and I once. Seems like it was shortly before or after Steve and I were married. Remember the dubble date, but not what the movie was. Steve and I were both very saddened when we heard of Lewis passing. Sincerely, Cheri Hill
