Connie, my "siamese twin"...we were joined at the hip since 2nd grade at Oaklawn Elememtary. We had many dreams and plans to be together forever.  I guess in a sense we are as I still hold her in my heart and mind.

I still keep in contact with her little brother Carl who is in Texas. Her sister Sandra is in N. Carolina.  She was actually the nurse who helped deliver my first daughter.

Connie's husband Dave was a friend of my husband in the Air Force and that is how they met. Now, I really regret introducing them.  Dave and Connie were separated and she was living by herself in an apartment and going to a Computer School while working for a company doing data entry.  She was just starting to find herself when he showed up at her door trying to beg her back. When she refused, he went to buy a gun, came back to her home and shot her then himself.  He was out of the Air Force, on drugs and playing around and she was not going to take him back.  I was living in Guam when this happened and didn't even get to come back for her services.  I was upset when I heard her parent decided to bury them together. I don't think she would of wanted it that way. He took my best friend and a part of me that day.  She will always be in my heart.

I LOVE YOU CONNIE!!
