Bill Fees, of Des Moines, passed away from cancer in 1996. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Alex, Jesse and son Bill Jr. Bill was a self employed painter but lived for his family. He had found a strong faith in God and died way too young.

Billy Fees, 32 of 4054 NE 43rd Place died of cancer Sunday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethany Reformed Church with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Fees, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was a partner in Fees Painting.

He is survied by his wife Mary; a son Billy Ray, two daughters, Alexandra Fees and Jessica Fees, and his parents, Harold and Joanne Fees, all of Des Moines; two brothers, Harold Jr. of Des Moines and Mark of Carlisle; a sister, Kristie Van Zandt of Des Moines; and his grandmother, Maxine Fischer of Des Moines.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
