ROBERT JOSEPH KIRCH
Robert Joseph Kirch, 45, of 3935 43rd St. died of an aneurysm Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of Nazareth Church, of which he was a member, with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Kirch was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. He was an independent truck driver and a member of Odd Fellows Lodge and Beaverdale Jaycees. He had been a volunteer for the Central Iowa American Red Cross.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Melissa and Lisa, both at home; his mother, Darlene Halblom of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Jeff of Des Moines; and a sister, Karen Pilowski of Edwardsville, Ill.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Caldwell Raddatz Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
