Judith B. Marks, age 63, of Georgetown passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Round Rock, Texas. She was born March 15, 1949 in Norwood, Massachusetts to Paul and Patricia (Amato) Kluding. Judith married to Byron Marks in 1989 at Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2008.

Judith was an avid golfer and Green Bay Packers fan. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was when she was entertaining and partying with the princesses. Before her retirement in 2001, she was Director of Special Education and Speech Language for the Des Moines Public Schools in Des Moines, Iowa. Judith was a member of the Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Andice, Texas.

Survivors include her sisters, Paula Skeen (Carl) of Moline, Ill., Kathi Panor (Bruce) of Nekoosa, WI; brothers, John Kluding (Jean) of Big Fork, MT, Bob Kluding of Des Moines, IA; stepsons, Jeffrey Marks (Karen) of Des Moines, IA, Jamin Marks (Maria) Orono, MN, Gregory Marks of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Hannah Marks, Aidan Marks, Owen Marks; sister-in-law, Mari Marks of California; along with many numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother James Kluding; and sister-in-laws Sharan Kluding and Gwendolyn Chamblin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Judi Marks memory to the Iowa Methodist Kidney Transplant Unit or the charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home.
