Michael Alan Hiatt, 62, passed away December 23 at home.

Michael was born October 3, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa to W.E. "Gene" and
Agnes Hiatt. He attended St. Augustin School and graduated from Dowling
High School in 1968. Michael worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 35
years and was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and Hungarian glass.

He is survived by two brothers, Patrick and James, both of Des Moines. A
private burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to
the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
