Patrick McIlhon

Ann McKeen died Jan. 27, 1975 in Burlington Vt. as a result of a traffic accident. As per her wishes she has been cremated and her cremains were brought to Des Moines, Ia. for visitation and Holy Mass at Christ the King. Her cremains were brought to St. Mary's Cemetary in Bear Creek Wisconson where they were interred in the McKeen family plot.                                                                                                                                             Ann had just completed here third year at the University of Iowa. She then moved to Middletown Springs Vt . She was interested in Art Photography, the culinary arts, and she had been working as both a brick mason and a carpenter's apprentice.                                                                                                                                           Ann is survived by her sister Mary Quance, brothers, Dan in Vt., Mike, London, England, Patrick, Buffalo Grove, Illinois. And Fred in Woodbury, Mn.

I worked with Ann at King's Food Host on Grand Avenue during high school. At the time I was unaware she attended St. Joseph's. I remember Ann as very friendly and fun to be around. I was so sorry to hear that her life ended at such a young age.
