Richard Jankowski
My friendship with Marshall Hall dates back to the early 1950's to a Northwest Detroit neighborhood where we grew up. It was during the era of Elvis, Rock N Roll, Doo-Wop music and The Milton Berle Show. To us, it was paradise. Later on, we both attended Mackenzie High School and graduated together in 1958. Over the years we managed to stay connected and always enjoyed remnicsing about the many memories we shared growing up. Marshall was an expert on Doo-Wop music and eventually became the DJ at the Mackenzie Reunion Picnics where he provided the music from his vast collection. He also attended all the Daly Drive-In reunions over the years. Another hobby that Marshall enjoyed was collecting old western movies. I still remember all those cowboy movies at the Saturday Matinee's and the Atlas theater in our old neighborhood. I will miss our regular phone chats and and will always have fond memories of our long friendship.
Rest in Peace good buddy, I know you will always live on in the hearts of those who knew you....
