James, buddy, you haven't changed a bit in 60 years. How can that be? James and I went tp Parker El. and Mackenzie High together. He was always a fun and likeable guy. We both ended up in Romulus and saw each other at some of the school events.I thought of him and the others from grade school many times over the years. Good times. I know you will be missed by many.

Jim and I grew up together as our mothers both belonged to the same bridge club and both pregnant. We were born 17 days apart and our friendship began then. Our familyies got seperated for a few years but Jim and I found each other at Parker Elememmtary School were we were assigned the same locker. Once we got over the shock we had to share a locker and we realized our earlier life itroductions our true friedship began.. I followed Jim into the U S Coast Guard. While we were not  stationed together Our Ships did cross paths at sea and once in New York were Jim was later stationed and my ship sailed into during the 1964 Operation Sail / New York World Fair. There I met his wife Gail and pregant with the first daughter Debbie.  As our tours of duty ended in 65 we each returned to Detroit and continued our friednship. Always there for each other in good times and bad. Jim was a true friend and we will miss him dearly.RIP Jim my life long friend.
