JEFFRIES, James Daniel, 66, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009. He was born in Detroit, MI and moved to Tampa from New Jersey in 1986. James served in the Army Reserves and retired as a radio and record promoter. He was a Congregationalist. He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Jack and father, Charles Jeffries. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbie; son, Shawn James Jeffries; brother, John Paul Jeffries; grandchildren, Zachary, Carson and Cristian and “Little Brother”, Norman Overton. The family requests donations can be made in James’ memory to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Tampa Bay.
