Carolyn W. Hockenberry - age 80, of Holly, died on Monday, May 16, 2022. Carolyn was born in Detroit, on June 27, 1941 to her parents Axel and Doris (Wiberg) Lohmann. Carolyn is survived by her children, Christine (Ed) Coker of Holly, Cheryl (Eddie) Smith of Moulton, AL, Todd (Lauren) Hockenberry of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Jennifer Hockenberry of Holly; sister, Yvonne Colenso of Birmingham; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Axel and Doris Lohmann; husband, Lawrence Hockenberry; son, Michael Hockenberry; brother, William Lohmann; and sisters, Elsie Brake and Joan Beale. Carolyn was an avid Christian, loved watching the birds and most of all, spending time with family.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 5 PM on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Dryer Funeral Home in Holly. The funeral service will be held at 5 PM on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Dryer Funeral Home in Holly.
