Obituary for Sandra Lee Haapala

Sandra L. Haapala, age 73, of Algonac passed away on April 13, 2021 after a short illness. She was born on September 8, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan.
She was born to the late John and Myrtle Haapala.
Sandra loved doing charity work, which included helping out at the churches, bible study and the youth group. She enjoyed the country life with animals and boating. She also liked visiting family, having conversations about life, reading, and concerts.
She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne (Kurt) Tolliver and Stacie (Bob) Davey; sister, Lois (Ron) Korzecke ; grandchildren, Melanie and Cody Patterson, and Justin Johnson.
Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelley Danborn and grandson, Shane Danborn in 1995.
