Ralph Edward Schmude Obituary

Ralph Schmude age 90, passed away August 21, 2023 at Henry Ford Hospice Home with his family by his side. He was born August 8, 1933 in Detroit MI, the son of Ralph Schmude and Mary Horian. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janet of 65 years and grandson-in-law, David Holcomb. Ralph is survived by his children, Linda (Terry) Lape, Arthur (Janice) Schmude and Sandra Schmude; grandchildren, Tracey Lape, Carrie Holcomb, Matthew (Emily) Schmude and Jessica (Geoff) Huzienga; great grandchildren, Kailyn Holcomb, Taylor Laimon, Bailey Holcomb, Avery Holcomb, Corran Schmude, Mara Schmude, Hailee and Grant Huzienga; great-great grandchildren, Emma and Billy Lozon, Clayton, Willie and Harry Mohn and his companion, Doreen Shelby. Per Ralph’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Grass Lake. A luncheon to celebrate Ralph’s life will be held at 1 P.M. September 12, 2023 at the Family Worship Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Worship Center 1901 Mt. Hope Rd, Grass Lake, MI 49240.
