Rochester Hills - Thomas W. Roberts, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away Monday February 21, 2022 at the age of 84.

Tom was born the son of William and Gretchen (Jaco) Roberts on March 21, 1937 in Detroit. He graduated from Mackenzie High School, class of 1955 and earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1959. Tom married Aubyn Henderson on August 5, 1961 at Bushnell Congregational Church in Detroit. Tom and Aubyn moved to Rochester in 1972 where they raised their family. Tom had a career in industry as well as his own CPA practice. He was a proud member of the MSU Alumni Association and member at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rochester, Michigan.

Tom loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He was a good friend and a great mentor to many people. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, golfing, and tailgating at MSU football games with friends and family.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Aubyn; children Leanna (Stephen Crusey ) Roberts, Andrea Roberts Hutto, and Karlyn Roberts Roemer; grandchildren William (Gobie Mohseni) Hutto, David Hutto, PFC John Hutto, Elizabeth Hutto, JT Roemer, Robert Roemer, and Aubyn Roemer; siblings Richard Roberts and Elaine (Jerry) Stevenson; as well as his step-grandchidren, step-great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his parents and his sister Billie Dean Jex.

Tom will lie in state on Saturday February 26th, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, located at 620 Romeo road in downtown Rochester. Burial will follow at Van Hoosen Jones Cemetery.
