
Edward Stanley Rochowiak, 85, passed away December 22, 2021. He was born on May 5, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan to Aloisius and Frances Rochowiak. Ed married the love of his life Patricia Litwin on June 6, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan. He was a loving Husband, Dad and grandfather. His family meant everything to him.
Together they raised four beautiful children Michael (Tina) Rochowiak, Dan (Dawn) Rochowiak, Allan (Michelle) Rochowiak & Cindy (Marty) Passino. He loved spending as much time as he could with her grandchildren Jamie, Mikie, Marty, Emily, Jordan, Cole, Jake, Garrett, Allison, Matthew and Evan. He instilled many family values and the love of Polka music, food and his favorite Pivo
He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Patricia, son Michael, son Daniel and grandson Michael. He will be missed by his brothers Ray, Len and sister Joann, Nieces, Nephews and many friends.
Ed worked at National Bank of Detroit (No Big Deal) as he called it, for 41 years. His love of music and the accordian led to orchestrating many Polka bands, The Eddie Roach Orchestra, Eddie Roach and the Notations and Michigan Polka Tels to name a few. When he played the many festivals that he did, his family loved to go watch and dance to his music. He always made them feel special. Ed also had a passion for Street Rodding and enjoyed time with his many street Rod Buddies. He truly was the greatest man, father, grandpa and friend you could ask for.
His Farewell… There will be a family and friends Gathering for Ed on Monday December 27, 2021, 3:00pm – 8:00pm with a 7:00pm Rosary, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 11:00am with a gathering at 10:00am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Father John Rocus will serve as celebrant.
