MARJORIE MALAHY Obituary

Marjorie Ann Malahy (nee Sobesky), 83, of Lake Carroll, IL passed away on December 21, 2016. Marge was the heart and soul of a very large and close family. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Robert C. Malahy and twelve children. She was the mother of William R. Barrett (Maribeth), James Zukowski, Raymond Zukowski (Helen), Teresa Duvall (Chris), Marge Johnson (Russell), Michael Malahy (Sue), Molly Hamilton (Dan), Maureen Montgomery (Mark), Marc Malahy (Judy), Maria Riedy (Mike), Matt Malahy (Patty), and Megan Malahy. Marge had 29 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Marge had an amazing zest for life and often laughed until she cried. She made everyone around her happier. She will be remembered for her caring and support to all who knew her. Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM on Saturday, January 7 at St. Michael's Church, 310 S. Wheaton Avenue, Wheaton, IL 60187.
