Helen P. Ross Jackson was born in Ypsilanti, MI January 30th, 1949, and she transitioned on March 19th, 2025. Helen lived her early years in Inkster and later moved to Detroit. She graduated from Mackenzie High School, Class of 67, Detroit. Helen survived with lung cancer for 7 years and was later diagnosed with severe dehydration and malnutrition. She would unfortunately suffer complications from the diagnosis of dehydration and malnutrition, and made her return to God. Helen was a Christian. She worked for 26 years as a Court Stenographer and retired with excellent service from the State of Michigan, City of Detroit, Frank Murphy Hall of Justice.

Helen moved to the city of Southfield, where she spent her senior years fishing, enjoying trivia, walking in the park, traveling, and gaming. She will be remembered most for her very generous spirit, sense of humor, and being a great friend, sister, cousin, aunty, wife, and mother. She lived a full life in her 76 years. Helen moved to Chicago in 2025 so that her daughter could help take care of her. Helen leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Lee Jackson, her daughter Katrina Muhammad, three bonus children- Keonte Jackson, Ramir Jackson, and Brianna Jackson, ten siblings- Ionie Douglas, Phd., Jacqueline Porter, Travis L. Ross Jr., Rosalind Logan, Virginia Kindred, Stephanie Vance[Chris], Walter L. Ross, Rebecca Ross, Timothy Ross, and Curtis Ross Kelly and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Helen continued her charitable and giving spirit in that she decided to donate her body to science in efforts to find a cure for cancer and to help others live through her body donation.
