I'm sorry, but I can't remember the year. It was in the 80's I know that. He was know more as Paul Byrd. He was coming to the aid of a young woman being beat by a boyfriend on a near by porch. And during the tussel, Vincent Paul Byrd was stabbed to death. He had spent 4 years in the Marines prior to that.
