Mark was a longtime friend and neighbor. He lived on VARJO. Lawrence Robinson, Duane Robinson, Michael Hurst, Mark and I were steady companions; playing all kinds of sports as kids in the neighborhood, pool and even music togethter. Mark would beat me in sports REGULARLY with his unorthodox jumper in basketaball and POOL.....
His sister Michelle and my sister, Cheryl were longtime best friends...
MICHELLE was murdered in DETROIT after graduating from Michigan State...
Mark was a longtime friend. Tragedies have hit this family in many ways. Mark kept in touch with me until the Lord took him home. He felt that nobody could cut his hair right but me. (Due to the way the Lupus took his hair out). I will say that he stayed strong throughout his battle/s and will remain missed.
Let's pray for his father who over the years had many medical issues himself and no family to really care for him.
