Michael was enlisted in The United States Marines from 1983-1989 where he ranked Sergeant receiving an honorable discharge. Michael also attended and graduated with honors receiving his Bachelor's in law at Wayne State University in 2014, while attending WSU he was part of the Veteran's Opportunity Program where he was teaching Veteran's to achieve higher learning and to get back into the working environment. Michael was studying for his Master's at Eastern Michigan and studying to become a Lawyer. He was a friendly, but kept to himself kinda guy, very charismatic and a very sharp dresser, Michael was an avid music lover, a car buff; loved his cars. - As quoted by Sister Angelina Johnson (Class of  '86)
