Many a football game played in the empty lot next to Gene's house on Neff.

Still remember when Gene was in the service  and I was talking to him in his green Mustang 2+2 the day before he was going to drive to Alaska. Miss you Gene.

Remember how Gene could dance! He was always in a girl's arms when the music was playing. The other day I had the Bose cranked up as I was waiting for my popcorn in the microwave. I did a couple of slick moves in the kitchen and said to myself - That's just how Gene would have done it!

Rest in peace Gene - I too remember all the good times we had on Neff Road growing up Lee - such great memories of those days and the fun we had at Finney - that time went way too fast!  Laura
