Obituary for Brigitta Schmegner Schwartz, Brigitta Peacefully at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on Saturday, January 11, 2014, Brigitta “Brigit” Schwartz in her 68th year. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Ruth Schmegner. Loving mother of Kristina Bentley (Kilbourn) and her husband David; Michael Schwartz and his wife Mary. Loving grandmother of Joshua, Ashley and Zackary Kilbourn, Emma and Cole Schwartz. She will be missed by her extended family, especially her aunt Kristine and her uncle Guenther in Munich, Germany. A special thank you to nurse Bernie and the caring 4th floor staff at Mount Hope. Cremation has taken place.

I remember what good friends that Brigitta and Helena Schalm were, both at Columbus Junior High and Denby. They were nearly inseparable. Brigitta was one of the nicest girls that I knew in school.
