I convinced Tracie to come to the 20 year reunion with me. She came to the house and we got dressed and put on our makeup and jewelry together just like we did when we were little kids. We had such fun together growing up almost as if we were the only ones that understood each other sometimes. We were having a blast catching up with each other. I got angry at her later for drinking too much and getting out of control which she frequently did. She got mad at me for trying to 'mother' her when really I was concerned with her safety. She left with someone else that was also drinking and I was so concerned for them getting home safely which they eventually did. She came over a few days later to get her stuff and we talked and got back to a good place, I always seemed to be the grown-up in our relationship trying to steer her in the right direction. I wasn't so successful sometimes obviously. She had some difficult times in her life and left this world way too soon. I feel like I have lost a sister and did lose my best childhood friend. So many memories I have as I write these comments crying my eyes out over her loss. I believe she is in a better place free from pain and struggle and enjoying the rewarding life she always deserved. I love you Tracie Lynn!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to see you again one day!
