Children I was blessed with two children, Alan Keith Sullivan and Karen Leigh Sullivan (Griffith) . My blessing More…with Alan was cut short when he died from a short illness (mistaken for the common flu) and died Feb. of 2004 at the age of 31. He had just completed his Associates Degree in Film at Seattle Central University. We miss him every day.

Karen graduated from Seattle Central with an Associates Degree in Fashion Design. She has been married to her husband Craig for 8 years. She just gave me my first grandchild (Carter) in Februay 2009. As most of you know, that new baby is the light of my life. Although we don't live close, I have made several visits and bought webcams! She and her husband Craig have just been transferred with his job to Wilson, NC (just outside of Raleigh). I will now be combining my vacation visits to one part of the country since it is within driving distance from my mother's in Dickson.
Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments

My life started over when we moved from Tennessee to Whidbey Island, Washington. We opened a little flyfishing and gift shop!!! This was very different from being in Human Resources. That only lasted a few years with the economy and tourist trade on an island. Yes, I actually live on an island and have one of the most gorgeous views imaginable.

After we closed the shop, we went back full-time in the food business. Some of you already know that Kroger private labels some of our seafood dip recipes. Always look for the Smoked Salmon, Cajun Smoked Salmon, and Southern Style Krab Dip. All the others don't make me any money!!! We traveled all over the country in a 35 ft. RV when we had our own Cornet Bay label products in Sam's Club. We are reactivating the Cornet Bay label with new food products that are not yet available outside of Washington. Maybe by our 50th Reunion they will be a household name.

My passion (besides my grandson) is making jewelry. I have been fairly successful locally and hope to expand with a website in the near future. At this point, I can send pictures or attach to emails....if anyone wants an original JOANNE'S JEWELRY DESIGN.

I think I have said enough to let you know that I keep myself fairly busy and have a diversified lifestyle.

School Story

Enjoy the reunion and try to remember the best of days. I don't think that I will be attending due to time and distance constraints.
