Judy Knupp (Miller)

Judy W. Miller was as good at being a daughter/daughter-in-law as she was at being a mother and a grandmother.  She entered into heaven at the age of 75, Friday, October 25, 2013 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling Illinois. Judy was a farm wife and cherished being able to take care of her family and the cattle, chickens, hogs and horses.  She helped chaperone many school functions.  Most of all she was a very proud mother and grandmother because she was able to help raise two generations in her family.  Judy was also an amzing gardener she could grow anything, and a cook and her family always enjoyed her homemade bread. Judy wa a member of Fairhaven United Methodist Church and cherished her church family.  She lived her life by His word.  Judy was born on May 24, 1938 in Mounds, Illinois, the daughter of Stanley and Alice (Morford) Knupp.  She attended Dixon High School and graduated with the Class of 1956.  On December 14, 1957, Judy married the love of her life John Miller at the Fairhaven Methodist Church.  Judy is lovingly remembered by her husband, John, of Chadwich, Illinoios; one son, Jeff Miller of rural Chadwich; two daughers, Julie Miller of Morrison, Illinois, Janet (Bernie) Wiersema of Chadwich; five grandchildren, Shelly (Greg) Lantz, Jonathan Miller, Matthew Miller, Katelyn (Trent Gebhardt) Wiersema, Andrew Wiersema; five great grandchildren, Jacob and Kyle Lantz, Hunter and Trever Miller, Madalynn, Dorathy; one brother, David Nain and a sister Carolyn Sue Burke of Jacksonville, Illinois.  Judy is preceded in death by her granparents; both parents and a borther-in-law.
