I think about you often and remember the good times (yet not so fun times) we had in CCD and our carpools to DHS when our parents took us before we could drive. My heart gets heavy because there are so many things you never got to experience. I will never stop thinking of you! Love you!
When I think of Kathy, I always remember how much fun we would have together. She was always so upbeat and caring. I actually won an art scholarship our senior year in her name. I did graduate with my teaching art endorsement for grades K-12. My first teaching job was a middle school art teacher. I'm pleased I was able to put the scholarship towards something Kathy loved. She will continued to be missed.
She was taken 3 wks before her 17th Birthday. It's hard to think of all the Birthdays she has missed as we go on in life. All the experiences she never had, graduating high school,college,getting married or having children. She was such an amazing spirit and always will be. I think of her often and her parents as well. We should all be grateful for each day for each day is a blessing. We should all make sure that the ones we love TRULEY KNOW IT as tomorrow may be our last.Hug your kids and let them know what blessings they are and that each one is on this earth for a reason. I know she is with God and he is taking the best care of her. She is watcing us with smiles and laughter and will greet us when it's our turn to go home.
