Marceile "Marcie" Louise Pritchard Born: September 17, 1949 in Alexandria, VA Died: April 26, 2024 in Dixon, IL Marceile "Marcie" Pritchard, 74, of Dixon, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at her home. Marcie was born on September 17, 1949, in Alexandria, VA, the daughter of Dale and Margaret (Swarts) Russman. She married Ronald "Ron" Pritchard on May 26, 1973, in Dixon. Marcie enjoyed many of the simple pleasures of life; first and foremost was family.

Marceile took great joy in her children and grandchildren, doting on them as much as she could. Marcie enjoyed playing the piano for relaxation, with her favorite piece being Beethoven's "Fur Elise." She loved the 12 years spent teaching Country Western Dancing with her husband, and traveling around to several Midwest states to teach at various dance events. She was a lover of animals, the family always had dogs and cats in the house, including the family's German Shepherd, Charlie, the current "ruler of the house." Marcie spent many years as the Secretary of the First Presbyterian Church in Dixon, before opening a local consignment store. Upon retirement, Marcie enjoyed reading and watching TV. She will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.

Marcie is survived by her husband, Ron Pritchard; one son, Steve Pritchard; one daughter, Andrea Pritchard; two grandsons, Dylan, and Nathaniel; two granddaughters, Josephine and Evelyn; and one sister, Janice Atilano. Marcie was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Glenn; sister, Wanda (Ken) Bramer; brother, Brian Russman; and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Dalmus Meeks, officiating. Memorials may be directed to Rock River Hospice and Home,
