Calvin Lincoln Jones a true friend. After Thornridge Cal went to work at Metro Glass and Kmart. After about a decade relocated to Jensen Beach Florida. He then developed an automotive repair business and in the future years became involved with marine operations and the related electronics. In his 50s he was diagnosed with cancer and sought treatment at Northwestern in Chicago. After a period of remission of over a decade the cancer returned. He went to our Lord a few years ago and is resting in peace. Cal was a steady guy with a positive outlook on life and a conscientious work ethic. He was always willing to help someone. The light of his life the last few years was his recently born granddaughter. Over the years he and I stayed close mostly by telephone. His wife Karen Miller Jones followed him to heaven three months after his death. They had a great relationship and always worked together as a team.
