Phil was in my speech class and we had to write and memorize our final speeches.  Phil hadn't done anything outstanding for his speeches for the duration of the class so when he got up to give his speech, we didn't expect much.  The title of his speech was "Dirty Copper Pennies" and I can remember a lot of what he said to this day.  It was about the Boston Police Department and the corruption there.  We clapped till we couldn't anymore and Phil got an A+ for the speech.  He was funny and great to be with.

Miss you, Phil.  May
