I am sure that most don't know this, but Rusty and I used to live beside each other in a trailer park there in Douglasville. I adored him. He used to torture me all the time. lol. Good memories though. I remember one time lying out in the sun and made the mistake of dozing off. Rusty lovingly took it upon himself to pour a huge pot of freezing cold water on me..lol. What a memory.
Rusty did marry, and had several children. On occasion I would see him in public with his family, and it was a beautiful reunion between he and I.
Rusty was killed in an automobile accident in Douglasville, when he was hit by a police cruiser while making a right hand turn onto Fairburn Rd, on Christmas Eve. When I was home last in 2001 his memorial cross was still there at the convenience store.
I miss you very much Rusty. I sincerely hope that I see you again in Heaven some day.
I want to school with rusty moore we even had some classes together . rusty was a vary sweet guy he would always have a smile on his face i would even see him sometimes mad cause a classmate would make him mad. i even named my dog after him but in 88 my dog was killed. i remeber telling that to rusty and he told me he was sorry. when i found out in 92 that rusty was killed i said ooh my god not my deer friend who would have a great smile on his face who would even make me smile at school. i still today hear so much about rusty here in my town of bremen yes all the way out here theres people that knew him a lady who's child want to school with my child knew rusty even knew his family his wife so he was a good guy they knew him at gibsons bar/rest. rusty i will always remember your great smile god is watching over you there in heaven i love you and miss you your friend . keri kohler class of 90!!! this goes out to his family and to his children you will see rusty 1 day when our father takes up to haven ..
