I became a caseworker at DFCS after college, and retired iin 1996 following a car accident while working, and am now in a wheelchair, divorced, and living with my parents. I am happy, and blessed. My memory is and continues to be impaired.
What are your hobbies and activities now?
I write and communicate with my computer most of the time
Interests and/or what I do in life:
I use my computer about 12 hours a day
Where have you traveled?
My rehab was mostly in Texas, but I have no memories of travel.
Favorite place to go:
Out to eat and church
New places you want to visit in the future:
I visit beverywhere via my comouter, but have no desire to travel physically.

Most people call me Khaki
Favorite sports:
I still don't follow sports much, and now never engage in any.
Favorite movies:
all Star Trek movies
Favorite tv shows:
I don't do new TV-shows due to my short-term memory-deficit, but enjoy Star Trek: The Next Generation and have the entire series on DVD
Favorite music:
Garth Brooks, country, and Christian music

I don't read now due to my disability, so have none
Favorite restaurants:
Red Lobster and IHOP, but mostly anything is good
Favorite foods and drinks:
Sweet tea, Breakfast foods, shellfish, Doctor Pepper
What did you always want to do that you haven’t done yet?
write a book
Plans for the future:
plan to/hope to get married and become more independent.
What would we be surprised to know about you?
I'm surprised at everything about me every day (because I keep forgetting :-)) so I am not the one to ask
Any words of wisdom?
God is in control, even though we are given freedom of will, so even when we are hurt, God will bring us past it.
Anything else we should know?
EVerything/anything is possible, though not always probable, or even advisable.
