CHARLES KAGELEIRY OBITUARY

DOVER — Charles J. "Chip" Kageleiry of Dover passed away at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital on March 8, 2010, after a brief illness.

Charles was born on Feb. 24, 1965, in Claremont, N.H. He was the son of Gregory and Catherine (Morneault) Kageleiry. He was a graduate of Dover High School, Class of 1983 and was a varsity member of the baseball, basketball, football and golf teams while at Dover High. He continued his education at Plymouth State College, graduating in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was owner/manager of the Dover Trophy and Awards Shop for several years and was recently employed in sales.

Chip continued to be an avid sports fan and was very well-read in current newsworthy topics, both local and national. He should be remembered as a sincere friend who always had a smile and a good word about everyone. His dear friend, Hillary, and all members of his family were most important to him.

Besides his parents, Chip leaves his two sisters, Julie Ann Mathews and her husband, Raymond, of Somersworth, and Katina Marie Kageleiry of New Orleans, La. He leaves three much loved nephews, Brett, Lucas and Gregory Mathews of Somersworth. He also leaves his very special soul mate, Hillary Sullivan of Portsmouth, as well as several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

Chip's family wishes to extend thanks to the Portsmouth Regional Hospital for their care and concern during his illness.
