Happy Birthday enjoy and hope your year to come is wonderful

Joan, Jerry and I lived three fourths of the year in Tucson but then decided to go to FL where a number of our friends were - in Venice. We bought a home there and stayed about five months each year. We LOVED Venice and all that went with it. However, Jerry found out he had brain cancer two years ago. We sold our home there this past year. Now, I've lost Jerry and my life has "all of a sudden" changed completely. I posted an update on my profile.

My husband, Jerry, died on August 15th, a few weeks ago. Anyone who has gone through this knows there are no words to explain how I feel. I was with him when he died in our home. I saw the light go our of his body and it has taken part of me with it. Being one half of a twosome for so long leaves one devastated to become "one" again. I am selling our home here in Fond du Lac and moving to Appleton where four of my five children live. Jerry and I talked about this and he knew I would want to be near my family so this is not a "all of a sudden" decision. I have so many great friends here - we had so many - but I need to be with my family now. It is only a 40 minute drive so I'm sure I will stay in close contact with my friends from here and make new friends in Appleton plus my very close friend of 35 plus years lives there also. My heart may mend but it will always be broken. I miss Jerry so very, very much and my heart "hurts" .
